PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - An adult and a 1-year-old child were killed while crossing a road in Florida.

The child's mother was also injured Wednesday night when a car hit them as they crossed a Pensacola road.
Pensacola police spokesman Mike Wood says the adult who died was a friend of the child's mother.
Wood tells news outlets that officers are searching for a white Dodge Challenger or Charger with damage to the driver's side. It may also be missing a rear-view mirror.
The incident is under investigation.

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) — A hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Cervantes and M Street has left two dead.
Wednesday evening Pensacola Police Department (PPD) responded to a hit-and-run accident.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle hit three pedestrians; two adults and a baby. Two are dead.
The baby was between the ages of seven months and one year and was pronounced dead at the scene. One of the adults was taken to Baptist Hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
The other adult was seriously injured and is being treated at Baptist Hospital.
Cervantes from Pace to F Street will be closed for several hours.
There are over 50 law enforcement officers on and off duty at the scene of the crime.
Officers are also checking all surveillance in the area.
Police are looking for a white Dodge Challenger or Charger with a missing mirror on the drivers side that is said to allegedly have hit the pedestrians. The driver has not been caught.
