AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) - A police report says between 30 and 50 teenagers were involved in a fight that left an Augusta youth stabbed to death.
The Augusta Chronicle reports that 18-year-old Demajhey Bell died Sunday morning at Augusta University Medical Center.
A sheriff's report says officers were called to the fight on Friday afternoon. A woman told officers that between 30 and 50 teens armed with baseball bats, pipes, knives and other weapons showed up to fight her 15-year-old daughter.
The woman claimed the fracas involved a dispute at Glenn Hills High School.
Bell was fatally stabbed, and the report says another male suffered a shattered arm after being struck with a baseball bat. Authorities say three 18-year-old females were charged with aggravated assault in the baseball bat attack.
