Duck River At Centerville affecting Hickman County

...The National Weather Service in Nashville, Tn has issued a flood advisory for

the following rivers in middle Alabama...Tennessee...

Elk River Near Prospect affecting Limestone and Giles Counties

Wartrace Creek Near Wartrace affecting Bedford County

.The Flood Advisory for the Duck River at Centerville has been replaced with a

Flood Warning. For the Elk River near Prospect and Wartace Creek near Wartace,

runoff from rainfall today may push water levels to near Flood Stage later tonight

and those with interests along these rivers should monitor conditions through this

evening.

* Flood Advisory for

The Elk River Near Prospect

* At 02PM Wednesday the stage was 22.2 feet and rising.

* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

* The river may rise to near 26.5 feet tomorrow.

* At 26.0 feet...Water completely floods Veto Rd near the Hargrove - Johnson

bridge south of Route 273. It may be unsafe to pass and motorists should seek

an alternate route.

* At 25.0 feet...Water begins to flood Veto Rd near the Hargrove - Johnson

bridge south of Route 273.

* At 24.5 feet...Water begins to approach Veto Rd near the Hargrove - Johnson

bridge.

* At 22.0 feet...Water completely inundates the TWRA boat launch parking lot

near the Hargrove - Johnson bridge on Veto Rd.
