704 AM CST WED FEB 20 2019

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has extended the

* Flood Warning for...

Indian Creek in Southwestern Madison County in north central

Alabama...

* Until 1130 AM CST.

* At 704 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated

that up to 2 inches of rain have recently fallen across much of

the Indian Creek basin. This precipitation was largely converted

into runoff, and although water levels continue to drop, gauges

indicate that the creek is still in flood.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...

Northwestern Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Triana,

Marshall Space Flight Center and Harvest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small

creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as

well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
