The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has extended the

* Flood Warning for...

Indian Creek in Southwestern Madison County in north central

Alabama...

* Until 730 AM CST Wednesday.

* At 122 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated

that up to 2 inches of rain have recently fallen across much of

the Indian Creek basin. This precipitation continues to be

converted into runoff, and automated gauges indicate that water

levels on the creek are still rising.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...

Northwestern Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Triana,

Marshall Space Flight Center and Harvest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the

dangers of flooding.
