The Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Alabama and southern middle Tennessee, including
the following areas, in Alabama, Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb,
Franklin AL, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone,
Madison, Marshall, and Morgan. In southern middle Tennessee,
Franklin TN, Lincoln, and Moore.
* Through Friday afternoon
* Heavy rainfall has ended this evening across the region, but
areal flooding and river flooding issues will continue overnight.
Additional heavy rain is expected at times late Thursday into
Friday as well, but the areal coverage is a bit more uncertain.
Also, additional heavy rain is expected on Saturday and Saturday
night. This watch may need to be extended into the weekend at a
later time. Thus, the Flood Watch will remain in effect through
Friday afternoon.
* Residents should make preparations now if they live in a flood
