318 PM CST WED FEB 20 2019
The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has extended the
* Flood Warning for...
Southwestern Madison County in north central Alabama...
* Until 930 PM CST Wednesday.
* At 315 PM CST, Doppler radar and rainfall gages indicated in
excess of 3 inches rainfall occurred in southern and western

within the past 2 to 3 hours will likely cause further rises this
evening above flood stage of 7.5 feet. For this reason, the Flood
Warning will be extended through late this evening. Should the
rises not occur from rainfall earlier today, the warning can be
cancelled earlier than expected. Stay tuned for further forecast
updates on Indian Creek!
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Northwestern Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Triana,
Marshall Space Flight Center and Harvest.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
