Northwestern Pickens County in west central Alabama...
Winston County in northwestern Alabama...
Fayette County in west central Alabama...
Lamar County in west central Alabama...
* Until 1245 PM CST.

thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to a half of an inch of rain has fallen and over an inch of
rain is expected across most of the advisory area through 11 am.
Already saturated grounds will cause additional rainfall to

in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

Sulligent, Reform, Millport, Carrollton, Lynn, Pickensville, Guin,
Hackleburg, Double Springs, Brilliant, Glen Allen, Kennedy, Detroit
and Kansas.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
