...The flood warning continues for the Tombigbee River At Bevill Lock

and Dam...

.Forecasted heavy rainfall during the next 48 hours in combination

with rainfall that has already occurred will send the Tombigbee

River into flood during the next few days. A flood warning remains

in effect for the Tombigbee River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Turn Around...Don't Drown.

Another statement will be issued by Wednesday morning...or sooner if

conditions warrant.

The Flood Warning continues for

The Tombigbee River At Bevill Lock and Dam.

* from Wednesday afternoon until further notice...or until the

warning is cancelled.

* At 6:00 AM Tuesday the stage was 114.7 feet.

* Flood stage is 122 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Wednesday afternoon and

continue to rise to near 129.4 feet by early Friday morning. The

river will then begin to fall during the day Friday.

* Impact...At 128 feet...Cattle in the area should be moved to

higher ground. Flooding of some cabins and camps along the river

can be expected.

Bogue Chitto, or 13 miles east of Uniontown, moving northeast at 60

mph.

Dime size hail will be possible with this storm.

Selma, Valley Grande, Uniontown, Selmont-West Selmont, Orrville,

Bogue Chitto, Gardner Island, Central Mills, Dallas County Horse

Arena, Paul M Grist State Park, Memorial Stadium, Marion Junction,

Burnsville, Potter Station, Old Cahaba Park, Safford, Hazen, Valley

Creek Junction, Plantersville and Selma Drag Strip.
