...The National Weather Service in Birmingham AL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...
Locust Fork At Sayre Affecting Jefferson...Tuscaloosa and Walker
Counties.
.Forecasted heavy rainfall over the Locust Fork basin during the
next 48 hours will produce rises along the Locust Fork at Sayre...
and a flood warning is now in effect there.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Turn Around...Don't Drown.
Another statement will be issued by Wednesday morning...or sooner if
conditions warrant.

the Locust Fork At Sayre.
* from Thursday evening to late Friday night...or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 7:00 AM Tuesday The stage Was 18.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 25 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Thursday night and continue to
rise to near 26 feet by Friday morning. The river will fall below
flood stage by early Friday afternoon.
* Impact...At 25 feet...Flooding of low lying wood lands and
agricultural lands along the Locust Fork occurs.
