...The National Weather Service in Birmingham AL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...
Tombigbee River At Bevill Lock and Dam Affecting Greene...Hale...
Marengo...Pickens and Sumter Counties.
Tombigbee River At Gainesville Lock and Dam Affecting Greene...
Hale...Marengo and Sumter Counties.
Tombigbee River At Demopolis Lock and Dam Affecting Greene...

.Periods of heavy rainfall are forecast to impact interests across
Central Alabama this week. Rainfall totals of 3-5 inches with locally
higher amounts are expected Tuesday through Friday. Though the greatest
rainfall is expected across the north and northwest portions of Central
Alabama, downstream rivers are expected to rise above Flood Stage as
a result. Therefore, a Flood Warning is now in effect for the Tombigbee
River at Bevill Lock and Dam, Gainesville Lock and Dam, and Demopolis
Lock and Dam.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Turn Around...Don't Drown.

conditions warrant.

can be expected.
