National Weather Service Birmingham AL

740 AM CST Tue Feb 19 2019

...The National Weather Service in Birmingham AL has issued a Flood

Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...

Sucarnoochee River At Livingston Affecting Sumter County.

.Forecasted heavy rainfall over the Sucarnoochee basin during

the next 48 hours will produce rises at Livingston...and a flood

warning is now in effect there.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Turn Around...Don't Drown.

Another statement will be issued by Wednesday morning...or sooner if

conditions warrant.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham AL has issued a

* Flood Warning for

the Sucarnoochee River At Livingston.

* from Friday afternoon to late Saturday night...or until the warning

is cancelled.

* At 7:30 AM Tuesday The stage Was 4.0 feet.

* Flood stage is 18 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early Friday afternoon and

continue to rise to near 18.4 feet by early Saturday morning. The

river will fall below flood stage by early Saturday afternoon.

* Impact...At 18 feet...Flooding of farm lands around Livinsgton

occurs and cattle should be moved to higher ground.
