TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — People from all over the community packed the stands Sunday at Godby High School to help give money towards the Alzheimer's Association.
According to the Alzheimer's Association says about 5 million Americans are living with the disease.
Sunday marked the 6th annual fundraiser for the organization.
Blondes Vs. Burnetts competed out on the field, all for a great cause and football trophy.
The Alzheimer's Association's fund-raising goal is $35,000.
So far, the game has raised about $12,000.
"Our mission is to end Alzheimer's disease. We want to eliminate it all together while providing care, support, and education for those living with the disease and caregivers who are dealing with the disease," said Yasmin Chan, Development Manager for Alzheimer's Association.
