TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The unsettled pattern continues! Warm, muggy conditions this Wednesday morning with some limited fog and haze out there. Rain chances quickly increase by lunch, and we're expecting some widespread rain and storminess, unlike yesterday, in which most of the storms were confined to south Georgia late in the day. Temps will moderate somewhat courtesy of the thickening clouds and hefty rain chances, though we'll still be muggy in the low 80s. A similar set up through the end of the weekend with rain chances varying anywhere from 50% to 70% each day. temps will be in the 60s in the morning while we reach the low 80s in the afternoon. The reason for the ample moisture is a stalled out frontal system drifting to the north and west of us. The closer this gets, the more rain we see. It'll pass through by late Sunday allowing for a clearing trend to start out next week, however 80s will persist even as the front passes, though it'll feel a bit drier.
