TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - After severe storms rolled through Tuesday afternoon and evening, it's a very quiet start to your midweek with temps in the upper 60s and near 70°. It's the coolest start to the morning since June 4th. Low 90s come back into the picture this afternoon with a few storms to contend with, but much more typical than yesterday's severe storms. Scattered storms look likely through Thursday in a general afternoon and evening fashion with highs right around 90°. Storms become more isolated in nature for Friday, and more importantly the Fourth of July with about a 20-30% coverage likely. Temps climb, as we see more sunshine, into the mid 90s. By the time the fireworks start up, expect temps to still be warm in the mid to upper 80s. The storm threat becomes a little more prevalent heading into Sunday and beyond as a cold front drifts towards the Mid-south triggering more storms along the Gulf. Temps back off to the low 90s in the afternoon.
