TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Another wet day on hand especially for communities south of I-10. Coastal communities have already picked up over an inch of rain due to consistent showers and isolated storms. Meanwhile, south Georgia hasn't seen any rainfall from this current upper level system scooting along the Gulf. The core of the low pressure moves towards the region later today bringing more widespread rain chances, though heaviest amounts will still be closer to the coast. Some isolated strong storms are possible for our south and western counties with high winds being the main concern. Temps will be rain-cooled underneath mostly cloudy skies only getting into the mid and upper 70s. As the low moves through overnight, we'll get some wrap around moisture so expect the first part of your Wednesday to be wet. Then we'll generally see some drier conditions heading late into the day. Temps will get to near average around 80°. High pressure builds in on the back side of the system which will allow for a greater temperature spread--cooler in the morning, though just as warm in the afternoon. Temps will be in the 50s waking up Thursday morning and pleasantly dry in the afternoon climbing to the upper 70s. Mid and low 50s heading into graduation weekend making it nice and crisp in the morning. Then by the afternoon, temps will be in the upper 70s and low 80s. Expect this trend to continue through the weekend. Next week we'll start to warm up as winds turn off the Gulf.
