MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Considerable cloud cover will linger through tonight and portions of tomorrow as tropical moisture moves through the area from the south.  Periods of rain are likely, especially along coastal zones, overnight through the afternoon.  As the moisture patch moves inland, clouds and periodic rain will spread further inland.  The eastern half of the region (I-75 area, west to around U.S. 319) will run the higher potential for rain activity, with lesser coverage closer to the Apalachicola River basin.  Lows will be in the low to mid 70s tonight, while midweek highs will be confined to the 80s in areas with persistent overcast.  Additional breaks of sun will allow some locations to surpass 90°.  The afternoons for the remainder of the week will still encounter scattered thunderstorm action, with a warmer trend thanks to an increase in sunshine overall.
