MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

High pressure in the Deep South has scrubbed the local part of the atmosphere clean of excess cloud cover and moisture, and rain has been eliminated for the time being.  North winds have carried drier air into the region, and that will heavily impact low temperatures tonight; though it will feel chilly compared to the recent past, lows will actually reach average levels in the lower 50s.  Sunshine is still featured for Wednesday, but a few extra clouds will be present.  We will hold off rain and thunder for another day.  West and southwest wind will support a rapid warm-up into the mid to upper 80s for highs.  A disturbance will reach our area by Thursday, as the active upper flow returns along with moisture from southerly winds.  Up-and-down rain chances exist into the weekend with above-average temperatures each day.
