High pressure to our north will try to block out some showers today, but we will still see a few passing through the region along with some decent cloud coverage. We had a warmer start to the morning than yesterday but with limited sunshine, our highs will only reach the upper 50’s once again today. Slight rain chances will stay with us on Friday too, around 30% with a mix of sun and clouds and a high of 61. A low will develop in the gulf and work its way closer to our region Friday night. By Saturday, rain will be moving across the region making for another wet weekend. Heavier showers will pass through Sunday morning with a few isolated thunderstorms. Clearing will begin late Sunday afternoon. Dry conditions will stay with us Monday through Wednesday (New Years Day). Temperatures will be in the low 60’s by Wednesday afternoon.
