MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

A few showers are situated near the Forgotten Coast, right on the edge of faster upper-level winds that are helping to create an unsettled weather pattern near the Gulf once again.  We are still forecast to go back and forth between dry, warm days and periods of building clouds, showers, and possible stronger thunderstorms.  The next higher chance for rain and disruptive weather is Saturday, especially along and north of the state line, where strong storms with damaging wind gusts are more possible.  However, for Friday, only a few passing clouds and a good deal of sun are expected, with lows in the lower 60s and highs reaching the mid to upper 80s.  Another general pause in the storm action comes toward Sunday afternoon, then another broad storm system approaches with additional rain potential by Tuesday.
