MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Rain coverage should remain very limited for Sunday afternoon as high pressure at the surface and aloft moves and centers very close to the region. The abundance of sunshine and the warm air mass that is moving in to the region will help throw temperatures to the mid and upper 90s for highs. Factor in the humid winds from the Gulf of Mexico and the moisture content will help the air temperature feel even hotter. Heat index values may possibly be in the triple digits. Overnight/ Sunday morning lows will range in the lower to mid 70s with partly cloudy skies. Daytime highs for Sunday will be ranging in the lower 90s for coastal communities and even hotter away from the Gulf (mid to upper 90s).  The rain coverage will be very minimal (< 20%) but a slight shower/storm can still form with the abundant heating, though they likely wont last for long with the strong high so close by. The beginning of the work week looks to continue the hot and humid trend with limited rain and high temps in the mid to upper 90s.
