MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The earlier tornadic thunderstorm action has pushed well east of the area, however a new threat is taking shape across the region, that being a line of very intense thunderstorms west pushing into our region for Saturday night. This is prompting a severe thunderstorm watch until 11pm ET. Forecast lows tonight will drop to near 70 degrees with isolated showers/storms overnight and coverage diminishing as the evening progresses (50% dropping to 30%.) Highs for Sunday will rebound back to the upper 80s/lower 90s and more clearing is expected, though a widely scattered thunderstorm threat will be possible with 30-40% coverage. Higher coverage will be limited to the Big Bend coast for Sunday afternoon. Highs throughout the week will be above 80 degrees with lows in the lower to mid 60s. A new disturbance will move into the region by the midweek, jumping coverage to around 50-70% for showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday/ Wednesday.
