MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The dry and small air mass that somewhat limited rain activity Friday will continue to be overcome by a more humid air mass. Flow from the Gulf of Mexico will return into the region, increasing cloud cover and rain coverage. Overnight lows tonight into Sunday morning will range in the upper 60s to lower 70s across North Florida and South Georgia with warmer lows near the coast (mid 70s). Daytime highs Sunday are forecast to be around 90 degrees with some spots slightly warmer. Rain coverage is around 40% with most thunderstorm activity expected to develop later on during the afternoon. Winds out of the south will help to continue ushering in the warmth and humidity for the week ahead likely keeping afternoon highs near 90 degrees and rain coverage around 40-50% increasing later through the week.
