TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - After a chilly start in the upper 20s and low 30s, plenty of sunshine and an increasing westerly wind will boost temps into the mid 60s this afternoon. A stray shower is possible beyond the evening rush as a cold front slides into the region. There's a brief opportunity of a flurry or two overnight, but it's nothing to be concerned about as nothing will accumulate. Literally, if we see anything it'll be one or two flurries and that's it...We'll bottom out in the mid 30s before a windy Tuesday with temps in the mid 50s. High pressure builds in, eliminating the breeze but causing temps to dip to the upper 20s for midweek. Mid 50s are expected for afternoon highs. Even chillier air to start Thursday in the mid 20s and hard freezes are possible. Low 60s come back to the picture by the afternoon as return flow advances from the Gulf. We'll skim 70° to end the work week with a few isolated showers possible on Friday and Saturday with another cold front passage. It'll be chilly for Valentine's Day weekend with temps in the mid to upper 50s.
