MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

A stable weather pattern since the middle of last week will undergo more abrupt changes in the days ahead.  A frontal system in the mid-South will slow as it approaches, but once it reaches the region by late Wednesday, cloudiness will thicken and a period of rain and showers will be focused on Wednesday night through Thursday morning.  This will usher in a cool-down, with some lingering clouds for the end of the week.  However, in the near-term, warmer-than-average conditions will persist with pockets of cloud cover.  Some morning fog is possible as winds will be light, and lows will fall to the upper 50s.  Highs Tuesday will break 80° in several locations under a partly cloudy sky, and may reach those levels again Wednesday before clouds increase.  Breezes will accompany the lowering of temperatures by Thursday, with forecasts highs staying in the 60s.
