MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

The moisture and leftovers of Tropical Storm Erika are lining the west coast of Florida, drifting to the north.  Upper-level winds aren't going to allow re-intensification of the system, but most of the moisture will stay intact.  Areas of showers and clouds will likely impact southeastern areas Tuesday, with a further movement inland during the day.  Western areas may experience less rain coverage than coastal zones.  Some rain totals may be heavy and could exceed one inch.  Highs may be limited to the 80s in locations impacted by rain, while areas without major cloudiness can reach 90° or higher.  Lows tonight will be in the low to mid 70s with scattered clouds.  Each day this week with feature a chance for scattered showers, though the influences of tropical moisture will be decreased.
