MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

High pressure approaching the Mississippi River valley will dictate the weather features for the region this weekend.  We'll maintain a mainly clear sky through the next two days, with only spotty clouds triggered by the warming of the sun.  However, mornings will start off near or below average, while afternoon temps will be affected by lengthy sunshine.  Saturday morning will start off around 50°, but the ongoing dry nature of the air will also support rapid warming, as highs end up in the mid 80s in most areas.  Sunday morning won't be as chilly, but still close to seasonable levels, while Mother will have to find ways to stay cool on Sunday afternoon when the high gets close to 90° away from beaches.  The warm spell sticks around through most of next week, and we'll also tap into more Gulf moisture.  Isolated showers and storms are possible in the afternoons starting Tuesday.
