LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) -- WTXL chief meteorologist Casanova Nurse premiered his "Cas in the Class" presentation series for the 2016-17 academic year with a return visit to Clyattville Elementary School near Valdosta.
Casanova visited fourth graders in the school's media center to discuss and highlight meteorological concepts such as the water cycle, severe weather information and safety tips, weather measurement instruments, and careers in the science. The presentation concluded with a question-and-answer session.
This was Casanova's fourth weather talk provided to the school in the last five years.
