TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - This part of the season is what every local high school girls soccer team aims for. Tuesday kicked off Regional Quarterfinal play across the Big Bend, with four area teams still standing.
After Tuesday, three of those four schools are moving on. In Class 1A, the Maclay girls defeated St. Joseph 4-0. They will face six time defending State Champion St. Johns Country Day on the road on Friday.
In Class 2A, Florida High handled Pensacola Catholic 4-0. In Class 4A, the Leon ladies defeated Navarre 2-1. They will host Niceville on Friday, who beat Lincoln.
