TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - Thursday night was a big one for the Florida State basketball program. Two Seminoles came off the board in the 2017 NBA Draft for the first time since 2010, and going first? Jonathan Isaac, who went sixth overall to the Orlando Magic, becoming the highest pick for the Seminoles since 1970.

Isaac was formally introduced in Orlando on Friday, and he will wear number one, just like he did in Tallahassee. Isaac has spent the last decade in Florida, and being picked by Orlando a nice homecoming and he said he's ready to get to work.

"I got everybody that's been supporting me my entire journey of basketball and they're in the same state as me," he said at his introductory press conference Friday. "To be able to transfer that support in a short amount of time. I feel like I fit great. I feel like I'm a great teammate and I want to win, and I want to do whatever I can to help the team win."

Dwayne Bacon was the second Seminole off the board on Thursday night, as he was taken 40th overall by New Orleans, who then traded his Draft Rights to Charlotte. Bacon also introduced by his new team on Friday, and admitted that he is still soaking up the whole experience. Charlotte drafted him as a shooter, but he knows there's still a lot of work to do.

"That's what I do," he said of his shooting abilities. "That's my job, but I want to get better at my defense first of all, my three ball, and then bring my scoring to, when Kemba (Walker) needs a break and those guys need a break, I can be that factor to bring that scoring in. I'm excited to get started."

Like Isaac, will sport the same number he wore in Tallahassee.
