TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – There are plenty of reasons to attend No. 9/8 Florida State Women’s Basketball’s regular-season home finale against NC State on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the renovated Donald L. Tucker Center.

First, the Seminoles (25-3, 12-2) will honor redshirt seniors Maegan Conwright and Lauren Coleman. The on-court senior presentations will begin at 6:43 p.m., as fans are encouraged to get to their seats early and support the dedication shown by each student-athlete.

Another aspect of the evening is that it is “Light up The Record Books” night at the Tucker Center. Free glow sticks will be passed out to fans in attendance, and as the lights dim during Florida State’s pregame introductions, fans will be instructed to “break and shake” their glow sticks in attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most glow sticks lit simultaneously at one place.

While the lighting part of the promotion is taken care of, the record books are another special part to the evening. A win over the surging Pack (16-11, 7-7) would allow FSU to reach several feats, including the first undefeated home record in program history (14-0), the most ACC wins ever (13), tying the record for regular-season wins (26) and extending its school-record home win streak to 15 games.
