TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Jamey Shouppe's debut as the new head baseball coach at FAMU will have to wait one more day. The Ratters season opener scheduled for Friday afternoon has been postponed.
Winter weather conditions in the northeast has made travel difficult. With airport closings in Atlanta and Charlotte it was difficult for the Naval Academy to make it to Tallahassee so the schedule had to be adjusted.
The Rattlers and Midshipmen will now open up the season on Saturday at 1:00 and then the two will play a double header on Sunday. All games will be played at Moore-Kittles Field.
