The incident happened on Friday, March 1. The woman, now identified as 61-year-old Mary Frances Alday, reportedly began verbally abusing the female employee who told her she couldn't use the coupon.

Deputies say that Alday struck the assistant manager with a shopping cart and was escorted out of the store.

Officials say that didn't stop her -- she went to her car, pulled out a gun, and walked back into the store. She reportedly began waving it at the victim and three other employees who had joined the investigation.

Alday was later arrested during a traffic stop at East Ivan Road and Wakulla Arran Road. During the arrest process, officials say Alday refused to follow the commands of Sgt. Danny Harrell during the traffic stop.

Alday was tased in order to get her out of the vehicle, but officials say she hit Sgt. Harrell several times in the process.

Alday faces four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of battery, one count of battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest with violence.
