Wakulla County sheriff: Shuttle available to take people to Leon County shelter

WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Wakulla County sheriff says a shuttle will be available Tuesday to transport evacuees to shelters in Leon County.

The shuttle will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Bayside Plaza in Panacea, according to a Facebook post.

A second shuttle will be available at the same location at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday to transport evacuees to Leon County shelters.

Special Needs evacuees will be taken to Florida High School.

If you or someone you are with is a special needs evacuee, you are asked to call (850) 606-3700 to let the staff at Florida High know what you need and that you are coming.

People who are not special needs will be taken to Lincoln and Godby High Schools.
