VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Police are searching for a suspect after an early morning stabbing.
Officers responded to the 500 block of East Mary Street around 4 a.m., where they found a victim with stab wounds on his cheek, upper right arm, and upper chest.
The victim told officers he was walking to his car when an unknown male approached him from behind and cut him with an unknown item.
He says the suspect did not speak to him and had his face covered.
Officers say it does not appear to be a random act and detectives are following up on leads.
