VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - Valdosta police are looking for a missing 77-year-old man who suffers from dementia.
Valdosta Police Department said that Samuel Heastie was last seen Tuesday around 11 a.m. They said that he was walking away from an apartment complex in the 800 block of West Mary Street.
Police said that Heastie was last seen wearing a brown polo shirt with stripes and brown gym shorts. They said that he did not return and has not been home since.
They also said it's been reported that Heastie has walked off before and was found around area convenience stores.
Investigators described Heastie as a black male with gray hair in a long ponytail braid that hangs down his back. They said he also has a raised collarbone due to a previous injury.
If anyone sees Heastie or anyone matching his description, call 911 immediately.
