Unknown Suspect Grabs FSU Student, Police on the Lookout

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- The Florida State University Police Department is investigating a battery case involving a female student.

The incident happened around 1:54 am on Tuesday in the 500 block of Park Avenue. According to campus police, the woman was approached by a black male who attempted to make conversation with her. The victim told police the man ran up behind her and tried to cover her mouth with his hand. She said that she resisted and screamed, and the suspect ran away. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as 6'1" black male, bald and with a muscular build. The victim also claims the suspect was wearing khaki shorts, a black muscle shirt and carrying a backpack.
