JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - In the pursuit of a man wanted in Jackson County for lewd or lascivious battery on a victim less than 15, deputies say three undocumented immigrants have been detained.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says that on Thursday, members of the U.S. Marshal’s Service Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force along with the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol/Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), attempted to locate Belki Perez aka Jorge Gomez at multiple locations in Malone, Fla.

He is wanted for an arrest warrant where he is accused of five counts of lewd or lascivious battery on a child less than 15 years old. Perez, a Mexican national, is also confirmed to be in the U.S. illegally and was issued inadmissibility into the U.S. after having been previously deported in 2012.

While attempting to locate Belki, other people located throughout the Malone and Marianna areas were also confirmed to be in the country illegally.

One of the people, later identified as 35-year-old Carlos Perez Velasquez, barricaded himself inside of a home on New Hope Road in Marianna and became hostile with the entry team while they tried to detain him, resulting in him being tased.

Perez-Velasquez, a Guatemalan national, was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance for resisting an officer with violence and to await a detainer to be placed against him by ICE for deportation purposes.

Two other people, 34-year-old Geigle Perez-Perez (brother of Belki) and 35-year-old Hugo Perez-Perez, both Mexican nationals, were detained and transported to the ICE facility in Tallahassee to await deportation hearings.

Belki Perez remains at large and is believed to be evading capture while remaining in the Jackson County area. Deputies say additional arrests are anticipated.
