MADISON, Fla. (WTXL)- Around noon Saturday, a log truck headed west on Hwy 90 through downtown Madison made a right turn and lost his load.
According to a dispatcher with Madison Communications Department, the driver was turning on to North Duval Street when several logs fell off the trailer of the semi.
The logs completely blocked North Duval and traffic had to be routed to other roads. Madison City Police were on the scene and there were no reported injuries.
Special equipment had to be brought in to remove the logs and clear the roadway.
Traffic was back to normal a by 4 p.m.
