TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Self-defense classes in Leon County are starting this week. The goal is to help women learn self-defense tactics and techniques in case they find themselves in an emergency situation.
Sgt. Maria Mercurio from the Tallahassee Police Department spoke with WTXL on Wednesday about the details of the classes.
