TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) will be holding a safety and sobriety checkpoint on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on the 1100 block of Thomasville Road.
They will be looking for drivers who are too impaired to drive a vehicle, vehicles with faulty equipment and those driving a vehicle without a valid license.
Following the checkpoint, officers with the Leon County DUI Strike Force will be patrolling the city, looking for impaired drivers.
