THOMAS CO., GA (WTXL) - Thomas County Deputies say they are awaiting autopsy results to find the identity of the human remains found Tuesday in the area of Spruce Lane.
Authorities say the remains, which were discovered around 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, were too badly decomposed to even tell what gender the body was.
The remains were found in the same area where 44-year-old Toni Rayburn went missing in November.
She has not been seen since November 26, following a domestic dispute.
Deputies are not saying if they think the discovery of the remains is connected to her disappearance.
