WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A teenager is facing careless driving charges after falling asleep behind the wheel.
The Florida Highway Patrol says two other teens were inside when the 16-year-old crashed the truck Tuesday morning on U.S. 98 just west of Tarpine Drive in Panacea.
The truck overturned, but luckily no one was hurt. Troopers report that everyone was wearing their seatbelts.
The driver has been charged with careless driving and violation of driver license restrictions.
