TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Talquin Electric is asking customers to limit water usage until further notice due to dropping water pressure.

Officials say water pressure is dropping in Killearn Lakes and the surrounding areas.

They are asking that customers limit water usage until further notice until crews are able to restore pressure.

Talquin Electric says additional mutual aid crews are en route to assist.

As far as power restoration goes, officials say Talquin and Duke expect to have the transmission service restored to the Baker/Centerville area and Killearn Substations by the end of Friday.

They also expect to have the transmission service restored to all of Talquin’s other Leon, Gadsden, and Liberty County substations by the end of Saturday.

Here is a list of substations that have been energized as of Friday morning:

  • Centerville
  • Buck Lake
  • Miccosukee
  • Woodville

Talquin is still working on getting the damage repaired to the distribution lines to get all Members back up and running.
