TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A man was arrested in Tallahassee after he poured semen on a woman while she was eating dinner with a friend.
The Tallahassee Police Department arrested Patrick Bruce on Tuesday. Police said the incident happened Sept. 12th, around 7:30 p.m. The victim told police that the suspect was staring at her while she was eating and studying with her friend at the Panera Bread on Ocala Road.
The victim told police that Bruce sat next to her and stared at her for ten minutes before walking to the bathroom. Police said that Bruce left the restaurant and returned with a cup from Publix. Again, he walked into the bathroom at Panera and headed toward the women immediately after coming out.
When he came out, Police said Bruce tried to pour the cup on the victim's head. The victim told police that the substance spilled on her neck, shoulder, and left arm. After he poured the liquid on her, she told police he apologized for spilling his drink and left the restaurant.
Once he left, the victim said she realized that the liquid Bruce poured on her was semen. She began screaming while the manager of the store tried to go after Bruce.
According to a probable cause document, Panera employees told police that Bruce dropped his cellphone. TPD said that employees looked through the phone and found a video showing Bruce masturbating into a Publix cup. The phone was turned over as evidence.
Bruce's first appearance was Wednesday morning where he was ordered to see a mental health expert for a pre-bond screening. He has another first appearance scheduled for Thursday at 8:30 a.m.
This is not the first time Bruce has been in trouble on a similar charge.
In June, police said Bruce had inappropriately touched an employee at Cancun's Sports Bar. When they interviewed Bruce's mother, she told police that Bruce was schizophrenic and off his medication.
Police said no arrests were made in this case because the victim was not aware she'd been touched until a co-worker told her. Tallahassee police also said Bruce was harassing yet another woman back in August when he followed a woman to her apartment complex.
