LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A 42-year-old Tallahassee man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Saturday night.

Johnny Willis was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 7:50 p.m. Saturday on Oak Ridge Road.

FHP said Willis was driving westbound on Oak Ridge Road in the vicinity of Henry Jones Road, when he crossed the center line and drove into the opposite lane.

FHP stated when Willis crossed the center line, the front of another vehicle hit the passenger side of his car.

Willis was ejected from his car and pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle, including his two passengers, in which one was a minor, all sustained minor injures in the accident and were taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

FHP said Willis was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and alcohol did not play a role in the crash.
