VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Law enforcement officers are looking for the suspects crashed a stolen car into a telephone pole over the weekend in Valdosta.
Police say the black Jaguar was stolen out of Lake Park. The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office issued a be on the lookout alert for the suspects.
Valdosta police spotted the car and tried to stop it on East Force Street Sunday around 4 p.m. But the car sped away and crashed into the pole near North Troupe Street.
The driver and passenger then ran off. Sheriff Ashley Paulk says they're still investigating the case and that they ask people not to leave their keys in the car.
