TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - StarMetro is spreading some holiday cheer through its Rider Appreciation Event.
Thursday StarMetro staff handed out winter outerwear and holiday treats to riders. Several local organizations were there handing out important information. The organizations included Second Harvest of the Big Bend, ECHO Outreach Ministries, United Way of the Big Bend and City of Tallahassee Utilities.
StarMetro provides more than 4.7 million rides each year. The event is part of its ongoing efforts to recognize and show appreciation to riders for their support.
