The City of Tallahassee kicked off its annual Stuff the Bus food drive for Second Harvest today.

The launch event took place at C.K. Steele Plaza this morning.

Donations will be accepted from today through Feb. 15th on all StarMetro buses.

You can also donate at the following places:

• C.K. Steele Plaza, 111 W. Tennessee St.

• Jack L. McLean Jr. Community Center, 700 Paul Russell Road

• Tallahassee Senior Center, 1400 N. Monroe St.

• Sue Herndon McCollum Community Center at Lafayette Park, 501 Ingleside Ave.

• Forestmeadows Park & Athletic Center, 4750 N. Meridian Road

Last year, more than 4,000 pounds of food were collected.

Second harvest says this particular drive is important because these months are especially slow for donations.

They're asking for anything from canned vegetables, to pasta, to peanut butter.
