SOPCHOPPY, Fla. (WTXL)--A Sopchoppy city commissioner loses his cabin to the Tennessee wildfires.

Commissioner Becton Roddenberry's father got the call from the national guard Tuesday telling him nothing was salvageable.

The cabin was on Bluff Mountain in Sevierville.

Roddenberry says it was a home away from home for his family. They would visit two to three times a year. While they are heartbroken, he says his family plans to rebuild.
